Need terracotta pottery? Handmade, frost-resistant terracotta pottery from Mantua, Tuscany, and Impruneta.

Italian clay from Mantua, Tuscany, and Impruneta is the raw material for our high-quality and frost-resistant handmade terracotta pots. Production takes place according to specific criteria, rooted in a long historical tradition; after all, Italy has traditionally been a country where terracotta is produced, particularly when it comes to earthenware (originally produced for growing olive trees for the olive oil industry), roof tiles, building materials, and wall and floor tiles.

Custom production of terracotta pottery
For the production of terracotta pots, the clay is shaped manually using molds. Decorating and finishing are also done by hand, after which the pots are fired twice at 1200 degrees following a 48-hour drying process to guarantee frost resistance. Subsequently, the pots are stacked on pallets and wheeled into the kiln. After firing, inspection and final finishing take place by hand.
